As you know,Nanjing has many places of interest to see,to discover,and to enjoy.Among its historical sites are stone city wall,the Confucius Temple with its magnificent night view,and Dr.Sun Yetsen's Mausoleum.With all its universities,Nanjing is a cultural center,offering an abundance of artistic and musical performances.It's also a city of beautiful gardens and parks,such as the Xuanwu Lake Park.With all these features,we will have a fun-filled week,especially that in early-October,there are many sunny and mild days for outdoor activities.So,I would suggest visiting these places first,and deciding on the others as our week develops.
Finally,since at this time of the year the weather gets a little chilly in the evening,I would suggest that you bring some warm clothing with you.Also,as there will be crowds of people at the stations and on the trains,you need to be very careful with your belongings!

My friend Jane is a pretty and cute girl.She has a pair of big and bright eyes,which seem as if they can speak.Under her small lovely nose,there is a little naughty mouth.Her hair is straight and long,hanging down to her shoulders.In one word,she is a healthy girl.She is the best student in her class.She always gets full marks in the exams.What's more,she can play the piano,and she sings and dances well.In every New Year's party,she plays the piano and sings sweet songs for her classmates.Everybody loves her very much.
③My Favourite Programme
There are thousands and thousands of wonderful programs on TV everyday.Of these,news program has always been my favorite.Almost everyday,I turn on TV at 6:30 p.m.and wait early for the news program.This has almost become apart of my life.
News program contains a large amount of latest information from the most serious international political affairs to the most enjoyable football games.The most important feature of the program is its fast rhythm.Because of this fast rhythm,it can contain so much information in such a short time.
I like this program because I think this program is more than just a TV program itself.In fact,it is a way of communication.From this program,people can be well informed about the affairs both at home and abroad in time.The world is developing fast,but if you watch this program everyday,you will feel that you are always in pace with the development of the world.
④Weekends
Weekends to people mean that they can have a two-day good rest.For example,people can go out to enjoy themselves or get together with relatives and friends to talk with each other or watch interesting video tapes with the whole family.
Everyone spends weekends in his own way.Within two days,some people can relax themselves by listening to music,reading novels,or watching films.Others perhaps are more active by playing basketball,wimming or dancing.Different people have different relaxations.
I often spend weekends with my family or my friends.Sometimes my parents take me on a visit to their old friends.Sometimes I go to the library to study or borrow some books to gain much knowledge.I also go to see various exhibition to broaden my vision.An excursion to seashore or mountain resorts is my favorite way of spending weekends.Weekends are always enjoyable for me.
