通过电影“刮痧”,可以看出中国与西方文化存在许多的差异.中国两千年中医传统经络疗法“刮痧”不被美国认可,造成“虐待儿童”疑案,使得影片中许大同一家被迫服从法律,父子分离、夫妻分居.在中国人看来,明明是爷爷对孙子的爱而用刮痧的手法为其治病,而美国人却认为是虐待儿童.可见中西文化观念差异是比较大的.
我认为中西文化的差异主要表现在价值观差异,教育文化上的差异,思维方式上的差异以及生活态度上的差异.
影片的动人之处在于它提示了国家之间的文化差异,提醒人们进行文化反省
不同国家、不同民族的文化,没有好坏之分.甚至没有高低之别.但是,一个民族的文化意识、文化宽容,是非常重要的事情.

It can be obviously seen throught the movie "Skin Scrapping" that there are many differences between Chinese cultures and western cultures.Skin scrapping,a Chinese traditional treatment on channels of a man with a 2000-year history is not recognized by the USA society,which led to a disputed case regarding to child abuse.In the movie,this case caused a big family of Xu Datong to be forced to part subject to the law,separation between father and son,separation between husband and wife.In a view of Chinese people.it plainly showed love of a grandfater to his grandson by means of skin scrapping to cure his grandson's disease.However,American people thought it is a kind of child abuse.So you can see the cultural differences between China and west countries are big.
I think this kind of difference are mainly reflected in the values,education and culture,mode of thinking as well as the attitude towards the life.
The movie touched the audiences by pointing out the cultural differences among various countries,by reminding people to ponder the existence of cultural differences.There is no good or bad,even no high or low,for different countries or nationalities.But it's so critical for a nation to realize and tolerate this.
