自从XXX来中国后,我们就认识了.
since后面加过去动作,表示从过去开始一直到现在.
3.paper意为纸时是不可数名词,这里papers意为材料,notes则是笔记之意.本句意思是我浏览了所有的材料,但依旧找不到我的笔记.
look for是寻找的意思,这里不是强调去找papers,而是在papers之中寻找notes,所以look through更合适.
4.If you don't leave ,you'll see the problem settled by us.
settled by us是过去分词结构做problem的宾语补足语.你要记住,一个句子只能有一个谓语,you'll see the problem settled by us句子的谓语是see,用was settled的话句子就多了一个谓语was,这是不行的.
PS：since要么加过去的时间,例如since 1997；要么加过去的动作,例如本例中since she joined the Chinese Soctety.
