1.travel 原意旅行,去某地.其实已经翻译出来了,去很远的地方接受教育.
2.at 就是修饰which,而which是代替the speed的,也就是说后面的从句是 changes take place in our society at the speed.
for 后面跟的就是wisdom,elderly people's wisdom,their wisdom,明白吗?在中国传统文化/认识中,
年老者因为他们的学识而被尊重.
3.年轻一代与他们的长辈那代好像生活在两个不同的世界,两个被能力划分（出界线）的世界,
skils （能力,技能等）和alibities都有能力的意思,所以在不知作者原意的情况,我认为可以直接翻成能力.不必要搞的太麻烦.
翻译其实不是每个单词都要翻出原意,还是看你如何组织.我的中文水平也一般,只能翻成这样,供你参考.
