The book that I liked most is harry potter,it is full of action,the author is J.K.rowling,she is like a star in Britain she wrote a lot of books,harry potter is like the most famous one,the are seven books in the series,they are:harry potter and the Philosopher’s stone,harry potter and the chamber of secrets,harry potter and the prisoner of Azkaban,harry potter and the goblet of fire,harry potter and the order of the phoenix,harry potter and the half-blood prince,harry potter and the deathly hallows.right now I am reading the order of the phoenix,I am about half way through the book,this is basically what happened in the story:Young Harry Potter has to lead a hard life:His parents have died in a car crash when he was still a baby,and he is being brought up by his Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia.For some reason unbeknownst to the bespectacled ten-year-old,the Dursleys let him live in the small chamber under the stairs,which made me quiet angry at first,I am very emotional when it comes to pats in movies and books like this,they treated him more like some other people out on the street than like a family member.His fat cousin Dudley,the Dursley's real son,keeps bothering Harry all the time.I my self would have been very annoyed and have gotten in to I fight if it actually happened on me.On his eleventh birthday,Harry Potter finally receives a mysterious letter from a certain Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry,telling him that he is chosen as one of the future students of that supposedly go to that school.Hagrid,the gigantic man who brought the letter,finally introduces Harry into the real circumstances of his life:His parents were a wizard and a witch,they were killed by the evil wizard Voldemort while protecting him.Harry still has a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead from that event.Since he survived the attack as a baby,and also somehow deprived Voldemort from his powers,he has been famous in the wizarding world.I just love adventure books like this,I wish some day I could be just like J.K.rowling and write a book that is famous in the world,also like making up stories.there are a lot of interesting facts and “did you knows” in the making of this book,like in 2005,Rowling has written the last chapter of the seventh book,the Harry Potter books have achieved a profile unparalleled by any other series of books,with worldwide sales exceeding 300 million copies.They have been praised for encouraging children and indeed even adults to read.I sometimes wish that I could be in the magic world,but thinking of no computer games and no TV makes me fell quite bad,but maybe it’s just worth it.
