Studies and Applicable Surveys of Animal Molecular Epidemiology YU Nai-sheng (Department of Animal Husbandry and Vecterinary of Yunnan Agricultural University,Kunming 650201,China) Abstract:Animal molecular epidemiology,which has advanced swiftly,is one of the completely new and active fields in recent researches of epidemiology.With molecular biological technology and theory and on molecular level,it expounds the distributing laws and influential factors of epidemic diseases in herds,and is widely applied to such researches as the origin and evolution of pathogen,the typing of pathogen.The differentiation of virulent strain and attenuated strains vaccineimmunized animals and animals infected naturally,the diffusion of spreading antibiotic resistance.The paper is a brief summary about this topic so as to display the recent advance and bright future about the researches of anim al molecular epidemiology.Key words:molecular epidemiology;animal;polymerase chain reaction;restriction endonuclease mapping analysis;nucleotide sequence analysis
