Along with the popularity of television, advertising has become something that we have to deal with everyday. Even if you don't watch TV, there are still hundreds of billboards that can not be ignored everywhere. Many people can come up with some cool fun commercial slogans anytime. Advertising is a way of merchants to enhance the reputation of their products or their enterprises. It can also bring profits to the TV station. Actually, the ad-rate is very high.
But it is not a good thing for us, because these fees spent by merchants are attributed to 'advertising cost', which comes from people who buy their products. Yes, the dealers pass on the ad cost to consumers, eventually. Losing money is not the only thing that advertising costs us, it also annoys us when its content is dull and its style is outdated. In another word, it may also affect our mood when we are watching TV. Hopefully, may those ad-writer be really good, and come up with creative pieces of work. That way, people may find that commercials can be entertaining, too.
