Dear Jack:
I am writing to tell you how grateful I am to your invitation to go to your home.It was the most gracious of offers.And I must thank you here in writing once again how much I appreciate your welcoming dinner and the time that we spent afterwards.That baked salmon was gorgeous and I simply adore your wife's puddings,they are heavenly.The time that we spent together after dinner in card was very pleasant as well.I cannot remember the last I have had such a satisfying game with anyone.I genuinely feel your kindness at my heart.And as a gesture of my appreciation,I invite you and darling Marie to my house next Tuesday,if you would be so kind as to come.
