In the contemporary world,in this time of revolution of thinking,not only enjoyed in the convenience and easiness provided by the modern technology and manufacture,also do the people concentrate on the environmental protections more than any other times they did.However,in the meanwhile,some assert that the production of consumer of goods become so prevalent in present-day that may pose a grave threat to the environment.From my observation,I totally agree their assertion from mainly three perspectives.
In the first place,the process of most production of consumer of goods constitutes hazardous pollution in the air.Take plastic products for instance,according to the scientific research that the raw material of the plastic,when it has being molten,will emit minimum radiation and poisonous chemical compositions which once inhaled will remain in lungs and cause cancers.So if such manufactories located in the downtown,then its citizens----regardless of adults or children---need to inhale and exhale in such toxic air on daily basic.Not to mention the direct detrimental damage of the oxygen ozone under the combustion of these consumer productions.
In the second place,the used consumer products may lead to second pollution in soil.That is,these productions like plastic bag and dinner set is mainly disposable goods which,once be used,will be carelessly littered because of its cheep cost and easy facture.Therefore,tremendous non-biodegradable trash is accumulated and covered up in the soil which takes more then 80years for them to decompose into the soil,at the same time,these garbage creates radiation and contaminating ingrideinces before being broken down,which will ruin the soil and eventually result in infertile for planting.
In the third place,manufacture of consumer of goods even pushes species to extinct.Deforestation is one of the best illustration of the cost to product these consumer of goods,as well as some specious biota in certain regions.Overdependence of natural recourses which is obviously not unexhausted already led to green house effect (all we can see the climate it changing) how can we be blindly enjoy a short time convenience of the consumer of goods and leave the earth unlivable in the future?
Based on the presented factors above,I would draw my conclusion that even if the products of consumer offered us some advantages,but it is too shameful to take it without thinking of the long-term implication.The production of consumer of goods does exert baneful influence on the environment which I believe can be avoided by refusing consumer products.
