than before 看到很常用一般在比较级里多,

想请问 than 这里是个介词后面再跟个 before before 可以是介词,连词,副词.
介词后不是一般跟名词代词动名词么.

其实than before 中的than是连词,不是介词,其后是一个比较状语从句,只不过把主语和be动词或助动词等省略.如He is richer than before =He is richer than he was before.此时before是一个副词“在以前”.
than usual“比平常”,usual常这样用,比如as usual“像平常一样”.
