I am so sorry for being late for Thursday's(自己改成周几) class.I know that you have always been very strict on us about being on time for classes,that's why I feel extremely sorry for being late to your class.But please listen to my reason.I didn't come to class late on purpose.I took off from home late that morning because I slept in.I was on my way to the school while I knew that I was almost late,so I started running.Unfortunately,I twisted my ankle since I was running fast in heels and it hurt a lot.I could only walk slowly for rest of the way after I hurt my ankle.It's because I know the importance of your class and I really don't want to miss any of your classes that I didn't waste any more time going to the hospital or the school's health and services,and came to your class straight.I hope that you can understand the reason for being late and the difficulties on my part.I also hope for your consideration and forgiveness.I won't forgive myself if I come to your class late again.Thank you!
