An old woman was suddenly blind.She promised（许诺） a doctor a lot of money if he could make her see again."Tf you fail,you will get nothing." The doctor agreed.
The doctor soon found out what was wrong with her.He decided not to cure（治病） her right away.Each time hr went to see the old woman,he took some of her things.
After he took everything he wanted to cure the blind woman and told her to pay a lot of money.Now when the old woman could see again,she didn't want to pay the money.So the doctor took her before a judge（法官）.
"What the doctor said is true," she told the judge."But I don't think I'm cured because I still can't see any of the things in my house."
The old woman won her case（诉讼） and the doctor went away witnout getting his pay.

一个老女人突然失明.她答应（许诺）医生一大笔钱,如果他能让她看见了.”如果你失败了,你会得到什么.”医生同意.
