In recent years,English imperialism has drawn the attention of scholars
at home and abroad.What is your understanding of the language
imperialism:no other language can replace the status of English in a
short period.but what would English turn out in the future?

That English being the irreplacable language for communication in today's world is not neccessarily a bad news.to foster communication,one language out of the many existing the wolrd should stand out to carry that responsiblilty of creating a bridge so that different thoughts across the wolrd can be exchanged and people despite their great differences of cultural background,locations,races,sex,nationality are able to understand each other.English has become such a language,which is a satisfying result for all of us.
another understanding of the word"language imperialism" is ,however,a more disturbing one.the truth that a great number of languages are perishing from the earth should draw greater attention than it has now.language spoken by the minority of people in the tribes,villages,mountaineous areas,places where there are few dwellers and even fewer travellers are disappearing.whether this pheonomenon has any connection with the rise of English is still to be discussed but we cannot neglect the fact that it really is a serious problem.there are of course,ways out there that can meliorate the situation,if the situation cannot be solved completely.fortunately,once we start to notice such a problem and acknowledge it as a real problem,the situation is getting better even before anything is ever done.
