I ordered a new copy of Lyle Ashton Harris and I received a used copy with a completely different order number on the packing materials than I had been given by Amazon when I placed the order.
Because I ordered multiple copies of this book from different sellers and none of them arrived with matching order numbers or sellers (on the packaging vs.on the info I got from Amazon),I couldn't tell which book came from which seller.After spending an hour and a half on the phone with Amazon,they sent you that poorly worded email.The customer service guy at amazon determined that two orders for the same product were somehow switched and someone else got my new copy while I got a copy that has writing in it and has a sun damaged cover.Amazon suggested the seller contacting the other person who got the wrong book as well and getting the seller to send a new copy as ordered.
Basically,I ordered a new copy and got a used copy.What can we do about this?
