a time when I worked hard..
I was never a hard working person, not that I’m lazy, it’s just that sometimes I can’t be bothered and doesn’t put enough effort into work. However just last week when one of my friend had failed her end of the year exam, I realized that the same thing is going to happen to me if I don’t work hard enough. So last week, I started to work a lot harder. Everyday once I get home, I start to do my homework. At the first few days it was very hard to concentrate, but now I’m much better. I removed all the distractions from my room, such as my laptop, food and TV, and it really helped me to concentrate more. Now I can get everything done on time, and I learn everything so much faster. Yesterday I got my English exam back and found that I have got an A plus. I am so happy.

Last week when I was shopping, I saw some amazing gold clubs that I really want to buy, but it’s going to cost about two thousand dollars. Without any money in my pocket, I decide to get a job. I sent my resume to severe restaurant looking for a waiting job, only one mail back to me and said to want an interview. I went there and they discuss the hour and the salary with me, and I realized how little the money is. But I took the job anyway, because I really want those gold clubs. And then I find out how much work I have to do, I don’t just wait, I also have to clean the dishes and I often have to help the head chef. But I worked really hard, and I was really efficient, my boss was very impress with my work and gave me a raise. So after spending every afternoon of my spare time with the dirty dishes and rude costumers for two month, I got my golf clubs. I think the golf clubs had brought me more happiness than anything in the whole world because I earned it.
