Dear Aunt,
I am unhappy now, and I don’t know how I should do. Mary and I
got to know each other through English chat-room. Since then, we have had
chatted online almost every night. We have many in common as we are both girls
at the same age. We would like to tell each other many things which are kept
secretly to others. I will feel uncomfortable unless I can’t find her online.
Besides, she told me two days ago that she would go abroad soon. She insisted
that she would get good education abroad than at home. I know it is wrong for
her to think so, but I don’t know how to change his mind. Would you help
me?

原文是have had chatted，这个是过去完成时，表示过去的过去，而chat（聊天）这个动作明显是从过去延续到现在的，为了强调是一直延续到现在的，并且有可能会一直延续下去，在这里应该用现在完成进行时，也就是have been chatting
（什么是“过去的过去”？e.g.他昨天去度假，前天还在上班，前天就是昨天的过去，即“过去的过去”，而为了强调前天是“过去的过去”，我们就会用到过去完成时）
（thoughts或者aspects）
原文many只是一个形容词，句子需要一个名词充当宾语，thoughts（想法）或者aspects（方面）都可以填，如果有其他讲得通的名词，也可以
（like）
原文would like to，等同于want to，意思是“想，想要”，说不通，改为like to（喜欢做……）会比较好，其他意思适合的动词亦可
（secret）
