Some people say human beings(人类) are not the only animals that have language.Other animals also “talk” to each other in different ways.For many years scientists have been making experiments with animals and they have learned a lot about animals.A bee can tell other bees about food by dances.There are two kinds of dances-- round dance and tail-wagging dance,If the food is close by,not more than ten metres away,the bee makes the round dance.If the food is far away,the bee makes the tail-wagging dance.other bees know how far the food is by watching the dance.They also learn what flower they should look for by smelling the dance bee.But they don’t know whether the food is high up in the air or low down on the ground.Like bees,dolphins,which live in seas,also can tell each other about food and other things.Monkeys are more clever than dolphins.But scientists find it difficult to teach monkeys to speak like human beings.Sign language,in which words are not spoken,is a better language for monkeys to learn.We really can not say whether animals have language or not.More experiments have to be done before we can give a clear answer to this question
