Sale of children,an age-old issue in Cambodia,has been haunting this country since the 1980s.Cambodia is,first of all,the source place for such a crime while it is also the trasition country and the receiver of children sold.Poverty has forced tens of thousands of people to be engaged in prostitution or to be sex slaveries,one third of whom,as estimated by the UN,are comprised of children.A prediction from USAID has further showed that nearly three quarters of them are infected with HIV AIDS.
