我的家乡在黄州，位于湖北省黄冈市的东部。是一个环境优美，人杰地灵的地方。
我国宋代大诗人苏轼曾被贬于此地。并在此留下了许多著名篇章。其中最有名的莫过于苏轼站在赤壁山上，望着滚滚东逝的长江水，留下了代代被千万人所传送的《念奴娇.赤壁怀古》。
苏轼被贬到黄州时，常常亲自烧菜与友人品味，苏东坡的烹调，以红烧肉最为拿手。他曾作诗介绍他的烹调经验是：“慢著火，少著水，火候足时它自美。”颗是他的家人在烧制时，把“连酒一起送”领会成“连酒一起烧”结果烧制出来的红烧肉，更加香酥味美，食者盛赞苏东坡送来的肉烧法别致，可口好吃。于是东坡肉就成了黄州著名小吃》
