My Classmate
I have a classmate named Susan, she and I are the best friends you can possibly find in this whole wide world. Susan is a very pretty girl with long, shiny black hair and delicate features. She is rather slim too, which often makes me slightly jealous. But she is such a nice friend and companion. When I was sad, she has always been there to give me a hug and tell me that's alright. And when we are both cheerful, we would do all sorts of fun activities such as playing chess and hanging out. Although in ters of academics, she does not do as well as I, she is a really hard working student. I enjoy discussing schoolwork with her because I know that she will always be sincere. There is my classmate Susan, and she is the best friend in the whole world.
My hometown
I grew up in a beautiful city—Shantou. It is a seaside city. It is big and beautiful.You can see trees and flowers everywhere. In Shantou, the air is fresh. The sky is blue. The grass is green and the water is clean. The seasons here are very nice. In spring, it is warm. People like to go hiking and climb the mountains. Children like to fly kites. So you can see lots of beautiful kites in the sky. In summer,it is a little hot. People like to go swimming in the sea. After that, they usually eat some seafood. It is delicious. In autumn, it is cool and windy. People like to go out for a picnic. When winter comes, it is a little cold. People often have hot pot for dinner.
I love my hometown very much ! It is a nice place to live in. Do you like my hometown? Welcome to Shantou. If you come, I will show you around this beautiful city!
My favorite sport
As students, our study is based on a strong body. Doing sports every day helps us keep healthy and energetic. Therefore, I like doing sports. And my favorite sport is playing soccer.
I usually play soccer at the weekends. However, if there isn`t too much homework for me to finish on weekdays, I can play soccer once a week after school. Often I play it with my good friends. at school. First, when I play soccer, I can relax myself after hard work. Also, I don`t get sick easily. Just as the saying goes, “Exercise one hour a day, keep illness away.”. Second, by playing soccer, I get to know what the true meaning of teamwork is. Third, when I play soccer, I can make many friends. They can bring me more happiness.
