management process of manufacturing for improving
that of construction.The concepts,relationships,and
techniques of the former are assessed as to their poten-
tial usefulness and applicability in the latter.To clarify
the issues involved,the comparison and assessment
process was performed at the conceptual and opera-
tional levels.
