The Crow and the Pot
It is a very hot day.A crow wants to have a drink of water.The crow flies to a tree and he looks down.”Where can I find a drink?”he says.Then he sees a pot.There is some water inside it.”Now I can have a drink,”says the crow.”That’s good.”But the crow is a big bird.His head is too big to ger inside the pot.”I do want a drink,”he says,”But I can’t put my beak in the water.”The crow has to walk away without a drink.Then he sees some stones.He stops and looks at the stones for a long time.Then he says,”I can see away to get a drink!”The crow is a very clever bird.He walks back to the pot with a stone in his beak.He puts the stone in the pot.Plop!This makes the water in the pot come up a little way.The crow puts some more stones into the pot,one by one.Plop! Plop! Plop! the water comes up inside the pot,little.And then the clever crow has a drink of water!

在非常炎热的一天.一只乌鸦想找点水喝.这个乌鸦飞到一棵树上,它向下看.“哪里能找到水喝?”它说.然后他看到了一个罐子.那里面有些水.现在我可以有水喝了,乌鸦说.真好.但是这个乌鸦是一个大鸟.它的头太大以至于无法伸进罐子里.我想喝水,它说.但是我不能自己打开水.这个乌鸦不得不走开.然后他看见一些石头.这是个非常聪明的鸟.他走回罐子旁嘴上叼着块石头.它把石头砸向罐子.这使罐子里的水出来了一些.这个乌鸦再用一些石头扔向罐子,一个又一个.水从罐子里面出来了,然后这个聪明的乌鸦就喝到了水!
