Nowadays the young cyber criminals in China have the following features:
1.breaching information security via the Internet.
2.producing and distributing viruses.The CIH virus,which broke out in April 1999,has paralyzed 60 millions PCs.In Chinese mainland alone,hundreds of thousands of hard-drives were damaged,which rendered a loss of a billion RMB yuan.Chen Ing-Halu,its fabricant,devised this virus only to play tricks on his friends.
3.committing theft,fraud and corruption via the Internet.The virtual property has distinct differences from the property commonly defined in real life.The young criminals take full advantage of the virtual environment to conceal their real identity and address,which adds to the difficulty in discovering them.
4.manufacturing,transmitting,and distributing obscene articles.
