  1. he's nearly as tall as you [are].

  2. it's less of a problem than i'd expected.

    会===it's of a problem less than i'd expected.     ?

1、He's nearly as tall as you [are].
  此处等于 than you are tall
  He wants to go shopping than I do.(do 也是一种为了避免重复的省略手段,等于 than i want to go shopping)
2、It's less of a problem than I'd expected (to).
  It's less of a problem than I'd expected (to)
  It's of a problem less than I'd expected.
再问: he's nearly as tall as you are。
