全球化是当今世界发展的历史进程,它不可阻挡的从经济领域渗透到政治、文化领域.随着21世纪的到来,文化在经济政治领域中的作用日益加强,在世界范围内形成一种文化多元化的格局,文化全球化也随之产生.在文化全球化的背景下,大学生思想政治教育面临着前所未有的机遇与挑战.面对新情况、新形势,高校思想政治教育工作如何能够顺应时代发展,抓住机遇、应对挑战,发挥思想政治教育对大学生潜移默化的作用,加强大学生思想政治教育的实效性与针对性,如何引导大学生树立正确的世界观、人生观和价值观,已成为当今高校思想政治教育工作者面临的重大课题.
本文在坚持马克思主义理论、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想为指导的基础上,通过文献检索、实地调查等方法,全面系统地分析了文化全球化对大学生思想政治教育的影响,并进一步阐述了影响大学生思想的各种因素,系统论述了在文化全球化背景下加强大学生思想政治教育队伍建设的必要性.在此基础上,提出了应当从优化思想政治教育环境、创新大学生思想政治教育内容、改进大学生思想政治教育方法等方面入手,切实增强大学生思想政治教育工作的针对性和实效性.通过本课题的研究,力求为大学生提供一个比较完整的文化全球化的图景,有助于大学生更全面地了解文化全球化整体轮廓,从而为大学生树立正确的世界观、人生观、价值观,提供一定的理论支撑,提高他们对主流文化、先进文化的接受的主动性；有利于丰富、深化高校思想政治教育理论研究体系.
