我一直都是很可爱、活泼、幸福的,直到我15个月大的一天.那天我摔在一个玻璃兔子的上面,它很严重的划伤了我的一只眼睛并且导致了失明.医生说如果把这只坏掉的眼睛取出来,以后我的脸就会长的很吓人.于是这只带着疤痕、灰色无神的眼睛就一直伴随着我.
人们常问一些关于这只眼睛,而且让我难受的问题,甚至还嘲笑我.当和小孩一起做游戏时,我总是那个“坏人”.我就是在这受人歧视的环境中长大的.
但妈妈注意到我不开心的时候,她都会这样对我说,“抬起你的头,不要害怕面对这个世界”.她的话鼓励着我继续生活下去.当我还是一个小孩时,我想妈妈的意思是“小心点!要不你会磕着碰着的”.当我步入青少年时期,我总是低着头深藏自己的自卑.可是我发现,如果我抬起我的头,大家还是很喜欢我的.在高中,我居然还当上了班长.尽管内心深处,我依然感觉自己像个怪物.我真正想要的是自己和别的孩子一样.当我感觉很不好时,我就会跑到我妈妈那儿大哭一场.那时她就会用充满爱意的眼神看着我,然后对我说“振作起来,勇敢面对这个世界.让他们看看你的内在.就是这样,妈妈教会了我要自豪.妈妈对我的爱和鼓励给予了我自信,让我不再怀疑自己.最终,我可以抬头挺胸正视其他人.我不仅学会了欣赏自己,还学会了如何付出自己的爱心.
