If you travel to Wiltshire, England, you will see a circle of huge stones there. It is called Stonehenge. It was built about 5,000 years ago.
Stonehenge is one of the wonders of the world and the best-known place of historic interest in Europe.
The stones of Stonehenge are very huge. Each of them is about five meters high. Do you know where these huge stones came from?
Study has provided an answer: some of the stones came from Wales more than 200 kilometers away. Then many scientists asked another question, “How did they arrive at Wiltshire?”
Some people said that the huge stones were carried to the place by powerful aliens. But no one knows for sure how they got there.
Stonehenge has a lot of mysteries, and it has always been the pride of British people.
