do you think it is good for college student to use the credit card?

In my opinion it is bad for college students to use credit cards for primarily two reasons:it is bad for themselves and it is bad for the economy.
Firstly,credit card gives its holder the right to borrow large amount of money whenever or however they wish.Obviously,college students,who depend economically on their parents and thus have little sense of responsibility in terms of economic matters,are not the most appropriate people to have this right.If used inappropriately,which is quite likely,the students who use credit cards may form a ultra-consumerist lifestyle that may well surpass the income of them and their families.This is bad to them indeed.
Secondly,such irresponsible lending is also bad for the economy.As we all know,the current financial crisis comes from the defaulting of debts that banks have lent to borrowers,of whom credit card holders are an important part.If college students are allowed to use credit cards,the safety of debts will be even harder to assess because of the unpredictability of student behavior,which is certainly on the opposite direction from the prudent economic measures needed to drag the world economy out of recession.
Overall,the issuing of credit cards to students are bad.
