Good morning,ladies and gentlements,today I 'd like to give you a speech about Friendship,If you have any questions ,I will give you an answer at the end of the presentation.
Friendship is the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person having neither to weight thoughts nor measures words ,but pouring all righe out just as they are,chaff and grain together,certain that a faithful friendly hand will take and shift them,keep what is worth keeping and,with a breath of comfort ,blow the rest away.And the ture friendly is in the giving and not in the taking.
A necessary condition of friendship ,is that the friends each care about the others ,and do so for her sake :in effect,this is to say that the friends must each love the other.Friends must be moved by what happens to their friends to feel the appropriate emotions:join their friends' successes ,frustration and disappointment in their friends' failures .Moreover ,in part as an expression of their caring for each other,friends must normally be disposed to promote the other's good for her sake and not out of any ulterior motive.
The ralationship of friendship differs from other interpersonal relationships ,even those characterized by mutual caring,such as relationships among colleagues:friendships are ,intuitively,"deeper",more intimate relationships.The intimacy of friendship lies in a kind of mutual self-disclouse :I tell my friends things about myself that I would not sreamt of telling others ,and I expect them to make me privy to intimate details of their lives .The point of such mutual self-disclouse is to create the "bond of trust"essential to friendship.Such a bond of trust is what institutes the kind of intimacy characteristic of friendship.
