Parmendies(巴门尼德) said that "it is the same thing that can be thought that can be".
我深知这几句英文的困难，前面几句我基本上搞懂了。就是这一句“it is the same thing that can be thought that can be.”我怎么也不懂。不知其意，亦不知其语法规则的运用。

Parmendies 不信有non-being存在,这是关键.non-being 应有通译,这里我译为“乌有”.
第一句可译成“没有一个改变的过程,因为‘乌有’这个东西不存在,任何事物或这些事物的状态都不能变到‘乌有’,或从‘乌有’变来.”
第二句：“可以想到的东西和存在的东西是一回事.”
it is the same thing 后边跟的一定是两个可以作名词的从句,不然same thing无从谈起.两个从句是：
that can be thought
that can be
