On my birthday,I was cutting the cake suddenly I saw a black ant on a table.I hated it,but seeing it move quite slowly,I could not help but to have pity on it.I took away the cake,leave a little cream on the table.After a while the table covered with a lot of ants,who was trying to move the cream.With great difficulty,they moved it to the ends of the table.I moved the cream back to the center of the table,believing if they would give up.To my surprise,they return to the cream and moved them again.I was so moved by the ants!

再问： 我想问一下，我觉得believing没错，后面的if改成that对吗？ 还有为什么是把【them改成it】而不是把上面的they moved it to the中的【it改成them】？
再答： 第一种改法，楼主的可能更准确，因为后面有to my surprise； 不过第二个中，cream是不可数名词。就算也可作可数名词，但是句中也是the cream，而不是the creams。所以只能用it代指。
