This is a picture which describes vividly a kind of common phenomenon among some drivers in our country. In the picture, a drunk driver is caught speeding. He has drunk so much that he can’t walk normally. How can he drive a car in such bad condition?
It is well known that drunk driving has been the leading cause of road accidents, but some people still drive after drinking. What are the reasons for the phenomenon? The lack of safety awareness is the direct reason why there exists so much drunk driving. Besides, some people believe that drinking a little does no harm to their driving. If traffic accidents happen, it will be too late for them to regret what they have done.
Drunk driving is a great danger both to our society and to drivers. It is necessary to forbid drinking before driving. It’s time we took some measures to make a total ban on it. Firstly, we should reinforce the traffic security education to raise people’s awareness towards safety. Secondly, the government should make stricter laws about it and punish drunk drivers severely. Thirdly, we can make posters and signs warning people not to drive after drinking .
In my opinion , the approaches above should be followed and gradually spread out all over the country. Only in this way can people build up their self-conscience and pay enough attention to their daily driving. If we can keep on doing this, the road accidents will decrease soon in the future.
