My fiancée and I decided that there were matters we should be in charge of in a separate way.From my family’s side,we needed to decide on the dress,the shoes,and the place and its decoration.On the other hand,my fiancée’s family side decided on the wedding rings and the honeymoon place.First,my aunt Luz is making my bridal dress and I bought the shoes here in the United States.In addition,my mom selected the place,and the decorations will be handled by my cousins Carolina,Lucy and Cristina.Secondly,my fiancée’s mother,after having measured the size of my finger,selected the wedding rings at a very qualified store in my country.Finally,my fiancée chose the honeymoon place and communicated it to the family via email.I agreed with this place with no hesitations because it is a beautiful Caribbean island in the Northwest part of my country,Colombia.
Furthermore,there are many traditions about wedding ceremonies that have lasted in my country.My wedding is going to be special because some of those traditions are going to be followed in a unique way.After the ceremony at the church,we will have a special reception.At the reception,we are going to carry out a valse dancing and the bouquet’s flower throwing.First,we are going to dance a valse with some of the guests; this was our pastor’s idea.Secondly,I am going to throw the bouquet’s flower towards my back in order for the single women to catch it.The woman who catches the bouquet is supposed to get married.These two traditions are very common in my country.However,it is going to be very special for my family members,my fiancée and I to gather and celebrate my wedding with these traditions.
Even though many couples have a special wedding celebration,my wedding is going to have much significance and value for my loved ones and I.There are things that my fiancée and I decided altogether.However,our families are also being in charge of things in a separate way.Moreover,there are many traditions about wedding celebrations in my country.My reception is going to include traditional and formal aspects of a western type of wedding.There is only one time in your life you are supposed to get married.If you are planning a wedding,make sure it is going to be a unique experience that is going to last forever in your mind.
