只要是英语的介绍就都可以,急用!
中文的我当然不用找,凭我的英语水平,要想把它翻得那么精彩,我看有点悬
所以,
Once upon a time a little boy called Vitalik lived somewhere far and away.
A tiny Vitalik with the heart and soul just as big as he himself. If I remember well, he used to go to school everyday - an art school in Odessa.
Yes, Odessa, a city in Ukraine, a city of beauty, a city of theatre – for both Russians and Ukrainians a hero-city as they used to say… Have you ever heard about The Opera & Ballet Theatre? About the building? Yes, indeed the building of the finest beauty…
Odessa has welcomed a lot of artists: Kandinsky, Gogol, Majakovski, Pushkin… and many others. They stayed there idle or lived their artistic lives. Oh yes, so did Vitalik. Like the rest of his great colleagues he wasn’t Ukrainian either. His late mother - Lilia Michailovna - was Russian and his father came from the Baltic state… that means Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia…hmm, I don’t know exactly… as it is difficult to guess. Actually, Vitalik didn’t look much Russian - seemed a bit Northern like with his long nose and a slender body.
A pretty boy I would say… And talented as well. He was born on February the 19th… nineteen eighty. have just forgotten… in a Latvian city Daugavpilse. or somewhere else. Before he came to school - together with his Granddad Arkadii Davidovich he mastered all his talents in Odessa. They played the accordions at the Days of the City – a big Granddad and a tiny boy just as tall as his musical instrument. Oh yes, he was an accordion student for 3 years.
So… as soon as he entered the Odessa art school the headmaster Anatolii Paduka learnt that he was a gifted kid. One day Anatolii asked him to perform at a school event. Vitalik thought a bit and prepared a musical humoresque. Yes, that was lovely...
When Vitalik was 16 the headmaster organized Vitalik's show and invited some of his theatre celebrity friends. Vitalik was dancing, singing and acting. All who came enjoyed it very much. Soon after, thanks to one local well-known high life personage called Merkovicz Vitalik went on stage to perform in ‘Bolero’. Yes, that was a first big step forward. Then he joined various theatre ensembles the names of which I don’t remember now… I think one of them was a summer theatre… hmm, such a strange name it had…
Whatever, he would have probably acted in all these theatres till today unless one day a very famous producer named Sergey Nikolaevich Pudovkin came down from Moscow.
That says the legend...Born in 1971 a young and clever producer was looking after NA-NA band that time. Some say he came into the Russian show business owing to its another bigwig: Bari Karimovich Alibasov. But just leave it alone…
So there he came to Odessa and happened to see Vitalik on stage. That was... the Experimental Theatre Studio at Odessa Fine Art Theatre, I think… So, Sergey asked Vitalik if he was going to visit Moscow in the nearest future… Vitalik had no slightest idea who this strange man was. Sergey introduced himself… and that how it all started. He invited Vitalik to Moscow together with some demo-tapes. Soon Vitalik was on the train with Opera #2 in his pocket. Since that particular moment Vitalik has been known for all as VITAS.
Oh, by the way… Sergey hadn’t heard him singing…that day in the theatre. Vitalik ‘was just speaking like a child, then like General Lebed, then he changed his masks - being an elderly man or a youngster, being beautiful and in a few seconds extremely ugly…”
So Vitalik, sorry - I should say VITAS - moved to Moscow and Odessa story had to end. Was he happy in Moscow? Oh - that’s another fairy-tale… and maybe not a fairy-tale at all...indeed... life is a fairy tale but there is some truth in all fairy tales... isn't there?
