What would you do if you went to a strange country and have serious culture shock?"

Every country has it's unique culture. This is because different countries have different races of people, are situated in different geographical locations, and have different religions.This all contributes to the countries own culture.Yet because the cultures are so different from each other, there are times when foreigners are not accustomed to the culture and customs of the country they're visiting. Some people might even find the culture totally unacceptable.
If I was going overseas, I would make sure to do some research about the country I was visiting, and learn a bit about it's culture, just so I know what to expect. If for any reason I was not prepared and got a huge shock after the arriving in the country, these are some of the things I could do:
I could try to understand the history and reason behind this strange culture, and try to respect and accept it. By doing this I am standing from the local people's point of view, therefore it will be easier to accept their strange ways.
If some of the customs in the country were totally unacceptable and against my beliefs, I would avoid putting myself in a position where i had to do them. For example in some Muslim countries people go out and pray five times a day, if I didn't believe in that then I simply would stay inside while everyone prayed.
In most countries, foreigners are not expected to fully understand the culture and do everything native people do. But also remember when it comes to culture there is no such thing as right or wrong, you have to respect the culture of other countries. If you don't like it, you can try to avoid it, but never insult people about their culture.
