I was taught how to be both an informative and entertaining tour guide. This was very useful, as I had not done this type of work before. After that, every day over the following two weeks, I gave tours around the Silk Road exhibition, which gave an interesting insight into China’s past. I was delighted to be praised for being an outstanding volunteer at the end of the vacation.
