Playing tennis after school and I’m really enjoying it.My coach be good enough to enter competitions soon,if I keep practicing.
However,after a recent match with one of the older boys at my school.I’m not sure if
I want to play it any competitions.
My opponent was constantly talking during our match and trying to put me off.At one point,he said,” My mother is better than you and she only has one leg.’ I found
it very hard to concentrate and did not play as well as I know I can.
Also,he refused to apologize for a net cord-ball hit the net and dropped over onto my side.It was a very important point and it made me very frustrated.To make matters worse,on the next point,he deliberately smashed the ball into my chest,It really hurt,and again,he refused to apologize.And now I have a massive bruise on my chest!
When the match finished,he ran round cheering and shouting ,saying he was the best.I was so annoyed that I refused to shake his hand and just walked off.
Now my coach has got involved.He told me I should apologize to my opponent for not shaking his hand.But my opponent
was so unsporting.It just doesn’t seem fair.What do you think?
