英语语法：left与leaving
There are only ten days left.
为什么这里用left而不用leaving?
这是主动语态啊,又不是十天日子被剩下,为什么会用left?

这是定语从句的省略.也可以说是后置定语全句是 there are only the days that are left.days 和left 之间是被动.所以是 left.定语从句中 that 指代的是days 所以省略,are 也一起省略,所以就只有 Left 了 .懂了?
再问：为什么days与left之间是被动的关系呢？
再答： 10天是被剩下的中文虽然是剩下10天，但英文要说被剩下的10天。
比如说我看到桌子上吃过的饭知道有人来过。 I know someone came here because seeing the meal had at the table. 吃过的饭，但英语中饭是被吃所以是 the meal had. 就相当于 days left.
