显然北约大使不可能都在格鲁吉亚,应该是和格鲁吉亚站在一起,为什么就直接用了be in?
还有wanted,按后面的意思,主语应该是he and NATO ambassadors 怎么能直接就这么用,前面应该有个and才对吧.要不然应该用wanting,或者加个逗号也行.跟在the ex-Soviet republic后面应该是过去分词做定语,但显然意思不对.这种用法语法应该怎么解释?前面有一个系动词了,没有连接词的话不应该再有谓语动词.

而且,当时Sheffer的确和26个大使在格鲁吉亚碰头了.所以说,were in the ex-Soviet repulic是完全成立的.
