将if省略把had提前的条件句一定要放在句首吗?在句中有没有这种用法?
既然一定要放在句首，那第二题的C项怎么可以选？

根据前半句的were to have time可知这是对将来的虚拟（后面的tomorrow evening也暗示如此）.所以后面一般得用would do或者should do
2.C
根据前半句的would have happened,可知这是对过去的虚拟,所以后半句要用if Bob had walked farther.但是无此选项,所以可以选择C.将if去掉,则要将if后的主谓倒装
