此题选C.A为什么不对?

1.如果用A what的话,则从句是what used to be 10 years ago.
楼主可以想一下,what在该从句到底做什么成分呢?
1）如果what充当该从句的主语,则be后面的表语到哪里去了呢?
2）如果what充当该从句的be后的表语,则从句的主语到哪里去呢?
所以,用what则导致该从句总是缺少一个成分,所以答案A错误.
2.如果用C it的话,则从句是it used to be 10 years ago.
it做该从句的主语,相当于主句的主语life in the country；
而且该比较状语从句it used to be 10 years ago和主句Life in the country is much better刚好对应,只不过从句存在省略而已.
