Mankind is wasting things everywhere and everyday . Wherever we go , we can see that food is wasted just because of poor taste ; clothes are thrown away simply due to their old fashion . Trees are cut down merely for fuel ; wild animals are killed simply for meat and fur ; oil and coal are exploited (开采) in a bad way .
The worst example of man’s waste is the waste of time . Many people tend to spend their time on worthless things , such as wandering about in the street , gossiping（闲聊） in the office , sleeping too much during the day .
It is time to call for an end to the waste . On one hand , we must save on natural resources and make full use of them . On the other hand , we must value time .

According to the passage , problems of wasting all kinds of resources have become very serious , especially the waste of time . Therefore , we are supposed to take measures against wasting .
A proverb says ,“ Time is Money .”But in my opinion , time is even more precious than money . Why ? because when money is spent , we can earn it back . However , when time is gone , it will never return . This is the reason why we must value time .
The time for our study and work is unusually limited . We should make full use of our time to do useful things . As a student , we ought to make efforts to be engaged in our study . Actually , wasting time is equal to wasting a part of our valuable life .

In a word , we should form the good habit of saving time . Do not put off what can be done today till tomorrow .
