不少八零后回忆童年时光,可能会记得,如果考试取得好成绩,就能从家长那里得到一些奖励——可能是一个变形金刚,或者一顿肯德基.也正是从那个时代 开始,一些中国家庭的经济条件,允许家长们这样做.但是现在随着科技不断发展,用金钱奖励孩子们的进步这种现在越来越普遍,这是为什么呢?
有些家长都认为当然是对孩子有些促进作用,有动力,出发点是好的,家长将零花钱作为教育孩子或者传递某种文化意义的重要手段,或作为一种奖励,或作为一种爱的表达,或作为劳动成果的回报.“金钱奖励法”确实可以增强孩子劳动的积极性,更重要的是让孩子知道赚钱不容易,鼓励他们通过劳动赚取回报,这无可厚非.但是,单纯的“金钱奖励”法只能收到短期效应,容易使孩子变得功利,“财迷心窍”.另外,有些孩子还不懂得怎么存钱花钱,可能出现乱用钱的情况.因此,从长远来看,单纯用钱来满足和激励孩子,对孩子的成长是不利的.
其实,“金钱奖励法”只是一种辅助的教育手段,孩子有受到大人肯定、欣赏和表扬的心理需求,满足这种需求,可以是一个拥抱,一句真心的赞扬,一件小礼物等,同样能达到良好的效果.
德西在斯坦福大学开展的研究结果:学生被分为两组画画,一组可以得到一些奖励,比如一颗金星等,另一组却没有奖励.几周后,通过单向观察发现,没有奖励的学生平时仍然喜欢画画,而那些获得奖励的学生却不怎么画画了——没有奖励拿,为什么还要画呢?
所以我个人认为孩子迟早要接触到金钱,与其回避倒不如早些培养孩子的金钱意识.为了避免孩子乱花钱或者太“贪”钱.家长应提早对孩子在金钱的认识上有正确的引导,帮助孩子建立正确的金钱观.
