How Will Our Life Go on without Internet?
Dear friends,
I daren't imagine what the world would be if without Internet.There is no doubt about the Internet changed our life enormously,and also Internet connects our life tightly and deeply.As a newborn thing,Internet brings people a lot of convenience.Meanwhile it also gives people some bad influences more or less.It has positive impacts which satisfy us,but it also has the negative.
Today,many people simply feel they cannot live without the Internet.Let’s come to the first.As a primary source of information as well as an efficient means of communication,the Internet offers people a colorful and convenient life.Just by clicking the mouse,we can enjoy a brilliant and easy life that could not be achieved ever before:shopping,making friends,contacting relatives,looking for jobs,downloading music and movies,conducting business deals,and freely airing our opinions.To spend a part of our day on the Internet is for many people quite normal.They use this kind of medium to get information about all kinds topics.Maybe some of them are interested in chatting; probably they are members of a community.To put your own information on the Internet is also possible.Create your own homepage; tell other users about your interests,what you want,that’s no problem at all.Whatever you are looking for,you will find it.Even if you want to have very specific information,you will find it in a short time.
If asked whether the Internet is the greatest discovery of the 20th century,my answer would be yes.The Internet has drawn the world closer together.The next advantage I want to mention is the faster development in public life.Internet is being used in many aspects:education,security,science,industry,agriculture,astronomy and even archeology.So it has enumerable effects to human beings.Universities and researchers turn to the Internet if they’d seek international cooperation or funding.Companies all over the world are online.If you want,it is no problem for you to exchange experiences,you will hear new things,you will see some facts from another point of view.And the companies and enterprises resort to the Internet for more business opportunities and potential customers home and abroad.Political campaigns are often done online to gain wider public support.Governments publish their latest policies and decisions online for worldwide recognition.Internet is a royal tool to make our lives easier and happier.It makes the world smaller and we call the new world the Earth Village.
The last,what I want to say is that the power of the Internet is all pervasive,yet its many negative effects are already visible.Many youths can't hold themselves from burying in it.Some unmoral ones make Internet as a place to spread crime,bawdry and drugs.Under the quick and correct responses of Internet,criminals have collected inestimable treasure.Children are exposed to online pornography and violence.Internet frauds are an everyday occurrence.In view of all this,you are advised to use the Internet with wisdom.Keep it at a safe distance and never lose yourself.
You see,the Internet absolutely doesn’t mean the whole world to us.To the men who claim that the Internet is indispensable,life can’t go on without the Internet.Every day millions of people spend hours on end surfing the Internet.They are obsessed with it so much that they forget many other important matters.For its convenience,the Internet has attracted people like magnets.As for me,although the Internet is a gift of the technological revolution and a blessing of this information age,we should never let it control our life.
On the whole,you know that there are not perfect things in the world.Internet is not an exception.But in the informative era,with the quick development of science and technology,people have to accept and use Internet.the Internet is really a very positive medium.Use the Internet and discover the advantages of this new,forward-looking medium!To those problems,I think,we should guard against its negative effects.
