Many people are arguing that a college degree is useless in these days because it give the holder nothing.
It is true that degree holders are finding it increasingly difficult to get a job,let a decent one,in the competitive job market,and there are many successful and rich people in the society who hold no degrees.
However,in my opinion,a college degree is still a gift for a person instead of a burden.It may help less in terms of financial returns,but a degree showcases the holder’s ability in learning and competitiveness.More importantly,college study is not longer a process to get an official ranking or a good job,but a process of develop oneself to find the potentials and disadvantages.
Therefore,it is important to get a college degree.Anyway,if in average,degree holders are still the most competitive group in the job market and the society as a whole.
