any country的意思是任何一个国家,any countries就是用在疑问句和否定句中,等于some countries上面的回答也提及到了,就是比较级中自己不能与自己比较,所以要用other此外个体不能与整体比较,所以要用any,表示任何一个 如果主语是复数或是一个整体时,后面与其比较的就要也是一个整体例如,cats are more lovely than dogs these cats are more lovely than other cats如果主语是单数,后面与其比较的就要是单数例如,I am taller than you 你上面的那个句子“China has a larger population than any other country in the world.”其实就等于China has a largest population in the world
