It is Saturday today.My fater and I got up earlier than usual for it is my mother's birthday.Right after breakfast,we headed out to shop for gifts for my mother.We bought numerous gifts for her,including a beautiful coat,a large birthday cake and some fish,meat and vegetables for a dinner party.When we got home,we found her in her after-lunch nap.We wanted to surprise her,so we got about cleaning up the house and preparing for a wonderful dinner.Apparently,she was really tired and did not get up until 5 in the afternoon.But when she did,she got a big surpise!She really enjoyed the dinner and appreciated what we did.It was all clear from her appreciating smile.Maybe we ought to help her out more often.
