My Christmas angel
It started with the Christmas trees in our village. One clear, cold and snowy morning, walking to school, red and yellow“ town seals” were sticking at the street corners and seemed to secure the town at thousands of corners like a big, soft Christmas package.
At those remarkable points toys, nuts, honey bread, straw angel’s hair and decoration items were present, everything a child can dream of.
Our daily walk to school today led us past Christmas market.
Though, Christmas market showed the dark side of this time as well: the poorness. As apples and nuts together with some honey bread and march pane could be present on the Christmas plates of the people in the better areas of town, the poor just had some candles and a few strings of silver lamel.
The rich and educated sent their children to buy items from the poor or distribute charitable gifts because the themselves were too much ashamed.
My mother had stored our Christmas tree in secrecy on the terrace and waited for the special day. On this day the tree was silently brought down the stairs and through the hallway into the living room.
Down in the courts in the back of the houses hand organ players and chorus singers had their final appearance; Christmas eve would be arriving soon. Finally, one of those days started which I still remember in excitement and with a warm feeling in my beating hart. In my room I waited six o’clock to come. There was no day that passed so slowly.

富人和受过些教育的人让他们的孩子到穷人那边去买些东西或者拿一些慈善机构分发的礼物,因为他们自己是羞于做这些事的.
我妈妈老早就悄悄地在露台上准备好了圣诞树等待这个特殊日子的到来!
这天圣诞树被悄悄地搬下了楼移到了起居室中.
房子后面的院子中手风琴手演奏和圣歌颂读已接近尾声了,圣诞前夕就要来临了.对于开始的这几天我依然记忆犹新,兴奋不已,至今这颗砰砰跳动的心还觉得温暖不已.呆在房间里静静等待六点钟的到来,我从来没感觉过时间过的如此得慢!
