Teaching steps:
Warming up
1. T: Hello, children. How are you?
What a fine day today! I want to go to the zoo to see the animals. Do you want to go with me?
Ss: Yes!
2. Computer: Show a picture of the zoo.
T: Look! This is the zoo. There are many animals in the zoo. Do you know who they are ?
Computer: Show the pictures of the animals.
Ss: It is a cat\ dog\ butterfly\ bee\ rabbit…
New lesson:
1. T: Do you know which animal I like? Let’s listen!
computer: The sound of the tiger.
T: It is a tiger.
Computer shows the tiger.
T: How to say it in English? Listen!
Computer: Tiger.
Ss read after the computer.
T: Do you like tiger? Can you act it?
Ss: Hello, I am tiger!
2. T: Do you like puzzles?
There are two animals in this puzzle. Who are they? You can learn form the computer.
Ss: ( Do the puzzle and learn the words “ fish , monkey” )
T: Have you got it?
( Check Ss if they had master the words. )
Ss: Fish. Monkey.
3. T: I think you can master the words very well. Let’s do some practice and there’s another kind of animal. Who is it ? Let’s do it.
Ss: ( Do the practice “ listen and point”, at the end of this practice, computer shows a panda to Ss, Ss learn this words from the computer. )
T: What is this?
Ss: It is a panda.
4. Ask and answer.
( Teacher uses the computer to review four words with Ss.)

Drills:
1. T: We have known panda, monkey, fish and tiger. Do you want to make new friends?
You can learn by yourself? Let’s see who knows more animals.
Ss: Learn the new words by themselves from the computer.
Computer: Show a zoo to students. There are a lot of animals in the zoo, students can choose any animal they like, they can learn the words form the earphone.
T: How many animals have you learned? Who are they?
Ss: deer, zebra, duck, panda……
2. T: Everyone has a home, the animals also have a home. Where do they live? Can you find their houses?
Ss: ( Do “ Game” , help the animals to find their houses. Listen and repeat.)
T: ( Check the answer )

Ss: The monkey lives in the tree.

Consolidation:
1. T: Now, have you known about these animals?
Ss: Yes.
T: OK, then, let’s have a test! I’ll see how many stars you have got?
Ss: ( Do the test, choose the right answer. Review the knowledge in this class.)
Computer show students many questions, students choose the answer, if they are right, they will get a star, if they are wrong , the computer will tell them the right answer.
