Bernard Shaw was a world-famous writer and humorist,but he was an ordinary-looking man.
Duncan admired Bernard Shaw´s genius for literature and wrote to him for love.In her letter she said,"Dear Mr.Bernard Shaw,I love you very much.You have a wise brain and I have a pretty body.If we get married,I´m sure we will have a baby with your brain and my body."
Having received Duncan’s letter,Bernard Shaw gave her a humorous answer.It said,"Dear Miss Duncan,glad to receive your letter,but I dare not accept your love.I love you even more,but I´m sorry I can´t marry you because I´m afraid that if we get married perhaps we will have a baby with your brain and my body."
